If you haven’t visited your local library for a while you’ll be surprised at how much we have changed. Libraries still provide free book loans but alongside plasma screens and coffee bars, free broadband Internet and CDs, DVDs and PS2 games and now we offer audiobooks and ebooks!
OneClickdigital is our recently launched download service, giving Halton Library member access to hundreds of audiobooks completely free of charge!
There’s always a lot going on in Halton Libraries. With a wide range of activities for adults and children including competitions, quizzes, book readings and free internet access - you’re sure to find something of interest.
Our service offers free access to the internet, lifelong learning and IT training and has access to a wide range of on-line services for businesses. Add to this our research and information resources, our specialist collections, the vast selection of stock available (including Books, Talking Books, and premium blockbuster DVDs), our dedicated services such as those for the visually impaired and housebound residents) - you’ll soon realise that Halton libraries have a lot to offer you!
