TALK Halton Online training modules: Please email the Early Years Education ​team for further information and links to access TALK Halton online training modules. Early Years Practitioner Guides: Cover all of the different training provided during the TALK Halton project and give an overview and summary of the information presented during training sessions. Can be used to refresh learning from training or as standalone resources for practitioners wanting to expand their knowledge of early speech, language and communication Speech and Language UK CPD Online Short Course: An introduction to speech, language and communication. This free online short course looks at how you can support the development of speech, language and communication on a day-to-day basis, and how to spot children and young people who might be struggling to develop these important skills. You can choose from one of four versions of the course; Early Years, Primary, Secondary or Further Education.​​ Training Needs Analysis New to Early Years: Outlines the basic skills and knowledge that everyone working with children and young people should have. Training Needs Analysis Experienced Early Years Practitioner: Outlines more specialised learning around supporting SLC development as well as identifying and supporting SLCN. Training Needs Analysis SENCO/Management: Outlines the skills and knowledge needed by those whose work significantly relates to supporting children and young people with SLCN and who have a key role in identification, assessment and supporting other practitioners in their work Early Years Training Programme SEN Training Programme Specialist Speech and Language Training
