Care homes are places to live with other people where staff provide care and support for people who cannot live independently

Halton Borough Council manages five of the adult care homes available in Halton:

There are also a number of other care homes in Halton run by private providers.

All care homes are registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission to make sure minimum standards are met. You may have to pay some or all of the care home fees; the amount will be determined by a financial assessment.
