Adult Social Care Policies

For Adult Social Care services please visit our social care pages

Each year we produce an Annual Report for Adult Social Care to look back at what the Council’s Adult Social Care Service has done in the previous financial year to provide care and support for some of the most vulnerable members of our local community. This is sometimes known as the ‘Local Account’, and the latest version focusses on the period April 2020 to March 2021. It is an opportunity to look at how we’ve performed; what we’ve done well and where we can improve. We also hope that it offers local residents an interesting insight into the work that we do to help improve the lives of those in need of care and support and their carers.

Carers Strategy

The all-age Carers Strategy aims to take a more joined-up and holistic approach to supporting carers in Halton. It describes areas for improvement based on the views of carers in Halton and links into national statutory guidance. Together, the Strategy and Delivery Plan set out our current position, the areas for improvement that we need to focus on over the next three years and the outcomes for individuals that we want to achieve.

Market Position Statement

We have recently updated our Adult Social Care Market Position Statement

The purpose of the Market Position Statement is to inform Providers about current levels of demand and supply in relation to Adult Social Care.

We encourage Adult Social Care Providers to get in touch with us to discuss the Market Position Statement and how it relates to their business.

We also welcome discussions with new Providers who may be interested in developing services within the Borough of Halton.
