School Travel Support

The Council has two policies in place to support children and young people in the borough and the polices are:

• Home to School & College Travel and Transport Policy for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Home to School Travel and Transport Policy (Statutory School Age)

The policy documents outline the transport assistance available for children and young people to travel, with the aim of assisting in meeting the Council's priorities.

In certain cases children travelling to school may be able to receive assistance with transport from the Local Authority and detailed below are the documents you will need to read and complete if you wish to seek assistance.

Halton's Post 16 Transport Statement details what provision is available for young people aged 16 and over to access education/training. ​​
